New Mum’s Food Adventures

I bought a three pack gift set for our family to try out. It has pink oyster mushrooms, white and chocolate. They’re easy to use kits which I bought here from Little Acre.

Today I set up and apparently I will see some growth and ready to harvest within 2 weeks to 21 days so I will update as I go.

The website describes their chocolate oyster mushroom having an umami flavour making it versatile to cook with. They even send it with a mushroom risotto recipe to try out.

I have only ever grown one kit before from a different company. I grew the standard white oyster mushroom. I got three flushes. I’m hoping I like it. I’m always hesitant because if I don’t like it I don’t really have anyone to give them away to.

So in two weeks or more I’ll try remember to post pics of it when it pins and grows
