Simple Finger Foods

My little bubs has finally reach a stage where he can accept more finger foods and enjoy it as well. Today we tried gold kiwi fruit and avocado. Lobed both and needed help with the kiwi. Had lots of fun mushing it around as well.

Bought a suction bowl today more for the plate design. It doesn’t stay stuck long but the portions are a good size. He had 5 sort of thin easy to pick up slices of kiwi and three slices thick of avocado so 1/4 of an avocado. He has started to gag less and get a little more adventurous. His finger foods for a while where the chips and soft corn I posted about before and scrambled egg chunks. Now he is able to chew better and has more teeth his is finding avocado more enjoyable. He is also starting to eat strawberry well. After having his fruit he will likely have a few more pieces of the faux popcorn called soft corn. It’s a gluten free snack made with quinoa so it also has some protein and helps keep him feeling fuller. As we explore more foods I will try to post about it. So far we are now gluten free for baby and I’ll explain why in another post.
